Barren Fields, Fruitful Gardens

Hi! My name is Rachel Miller. I am the author of four books. I have been involved in children’s and women’s ministries for two decades and have had the joy of serving both in my hometown of Billings, Montana as well as in various countries around the world. I am the executive director of Forbid Them Not Ministries, which works with orphans, widows, and single moms. But, with 10 amazing nieces and nephews, my favorite title is “Auntie Rachel.”

After spending hours contemplating what to call this blog, I realized the best name had been right in front of me the whole time!

Barren Fields, Fruitful Gardens is the title of my first fiction series. (Book 1 just released, check it out below!) The theme of the series sums up one of my primary goals in writing – seeing fruit spring up where there was once a barren field.

I hope this blog will be a place where not only can you keep up with current and future books and related articles but also where you can find encouragement to grow in the Lord.
